BOA is… A great story that started 20 years ago. My name is Amélie Sharda and I started BOA with great inspiration from travelling and discovering the world. I was born in Montreal. My mother is French Canadian and my father is from India. Rich from this Indian heritage with a father that loved to make us discover his beautiful country, I had no choice but to fall in love with this amazingly colorful India. It is through one of those beautiful trips that BOA came to life in 2002. Success was immediate and I shared my life between Asia and Canada for more than 10 years. This is where I learned the expertise of jewelry in terms of quality of craftmanship. It is travelling through India and all the rest of Asia, Thailand, South Korea, Hong Kong… that I found inspiration for new designs and techniques of creation. I developed extremely valuable contact with amazing craftsman that thought me about semi-precious stones, valuable materials such as sterling silver and gold. I also earned the experience of managing large productions of fashion jewelry always keeping in mind sustainability and respect. It is full hearted with joy and happiness that I continue to develop BOA years after years and I feel really grateful to share all of this with you!
