BOA is... A beautiful story that began 20 years ago. My name is Amélie Sharda and I created BOA, inspired by my travels and my discovery of the world. I was born in Montreal. My mother is French-Canadian and my father is from India. Rich in this Indian heritage and with a father who loved to show us his beautiful country, I couldn't help but fall in love with this incredibly colorful India. It was during one of these magnificent trips that BOA was born in 2002. Success was immediate and I divided my life between Asia and Canada for more than 10 years. During these years, I acquired and perfected my expertise in jewelry, particularly in terms of manufacturing quality. I found inspiration for new designs and creative techniques during my travels through India, Thailand, South Korea, Hong Kong... I made extremely valuable contacts with extraordinary artisans who taught me everything about semi-precious stones and precious materials such as real silver and gold. I have also gained experience in managing large productions of costume jewelry, always keeping sustainability and respect in mind. It is with joy and happiness that I continue to develop BOA year after year and I am truly grateful to be able to share all of this with you!
